Aircraft Catering Truck Bodies: Simple Operation Guide
- Starting & Driving
Check the status of the catering truck’s fuel, power supply, and hydraulic systems.
Before starting the engine, ensure the truck box’s lifting platform is in its lowest position.
When driving, observe airport catering truck speed limits and avoid sudden braking or sharp turns. - Lifting Platform Operation
Raising the Platform:
Ensure the ground is level and free of obstacles.
Unlock the safety bars:
Activate the hydraulic control button or lever to raise the platform slowly.
Lowering the Platform:
Operate the hydraulic system slowly.
Ensure the platform makes a smooth landing; lock the safety bars.
Caution: Do not stand beneath the platform or on its edges while it is being raised or lowered. - Catering Loading & Unloading
Use the specialized lifting mechanism to dock with the aircraft’s catering cabin.
Avoid overloading; adhere to the truck box’s maximum load capacity limits.
Handle catering supplies with care to avoid collisions with the truck body or tableware. - Safety Locks and Securing
Upon completion of loading, ensure that all truck body doors and locks are fully closed.
