Features

Composite Box offers flatbed pickup camping kits that install directly onto flatbed pickups. We utilize fiberglass composite panels as the camper body material, incorporating high-performance insulating foam. This creates a lightweight, high-strength, and extremely weather-resistant camping enclosure.

Composite Box custom-builds camping bodies for flatbed pickups. We design for specific pickup models, offering customizable exterior colors, window layouts, and door/window placements—putting you in full control of the design. CNC machining services are also available.

A Camper Van for All Seasons

Worried about extreme indoor temperature fluctuations? Fear not—our solution ensures year-round comfort. Insulated foam keeps interiors warm or cool, utilizing XPS or PU foam.

Why such outstanding insulation? Both feature closed-cell structures with minimal water absorption. Thermal performance remains stable: XPS has a thermal conductivity of 0.028-0.030 W/m·K, while PU ranges from 0.022-0.024 W/m·K. When combined with fiberglass, they achieve exceptional strength and performance.

What is the difference between flatbed truck campers and slide-in campers?

The main differences between flatbed truck campers and slide-in campers are as follows:

Installation Method

Flatbed campers are mounted directly onto a flatbed chassis; slide-in campers slide directly into the bed of a stock pickup truck.

Space

Flatbed campers offer a larger floor area and more open interior space; slide-in campers are limited by the width of the truck bed.

Performance

Flatbed campers have a lower center of gravity and greater stability, making them suitable for off-road use; slide-in models have a higher center of gravity, requiring consideration of wind resistance and rollover risks.

How to choose? Flatbed models offer higher customization but come at a higher cost. Slide-in models are more standardized, offering better value for money and suitability for everyday multi-purpose use.
