PET foam is a durable composite material, also called polyethylene terephthalate. It is economical and can be used as a direct replacement for traditional steel and wood panels. It has good thermoforming properties and is suitable for the production of fiberglass sandwich panels. It is not easy to deform and bend. It has good loading performance, good material fatigue resistance, and stability. The water absorption rate is as low as ≤2%, which is better than common foam. No toxic gas will be produced when burned.
