Enclosed car trailers are used to transport race cars, automobiles and motorcycles. It has floor, wall panels and ceiling. It is a fully enclosed structure. Enclosed car trailers have an overall weight of 850 kg to 1700 kg. The use of fiberglass foam panels reduces the GVWR, saves fuel, reduces costs and improves driving efficiency.

  • Small trailers (4.9 m/16 ft): OWT of about 850-1,100 kg, GVWR of about 3,175 kg, and load capacity of 2,100-2,300 kg.
  • Medium-sized trailers (6-7 m/20-24 ft.): curb weight approx. 1,100-1,400 kg, GVWR approx. 4,445 kg, load capacity 3,100-3,400 kg.
  • Large trailers (9-12 m/28-38 ft.): curb weight approx. 1,700-2,000 kg, GVWR approx. 5,443 kg, load capacity 3,700-4,200 kg.

Fiberglass foam panels are the wall panels and ceilings of enclosed car trailers. The thickness of the wall panels is 20 to 60 millimeters and the thickness of the ceiling is 10 to 50 millimeters.
