Our panels help maintain stable cold storage temperatures and eliminate fluctuations. The outer skin features 1.2-2.0mm antibacterial gel-coated FRP, with a core of high-density PU or XPS. Thickness ranges from 20mm to 200mm. Extremely low thermal conductivity of 0.018W/m·K. Operating temperature range: -50°C to +60°C. Features a high-gloss, clean surface with antibacterial and non-absorbent properties.
Ideal for cold chain storage of temperature-sensitive products including food, produce, meat, pharmaceuticals, and vaccines.
Features
Composite Box delivers the optimal fiberglass cold storage solution. It provides an integrated solution for wall panels, ceiling panels, and cold storage doors. The skin thickness is available in 0.8-2.0mm, with core material options of PU (density ≥40kg/m³) or XPS. The XPS core features a closed-cell rate ≥99%, offering superior waterproof performance. The inner layer can utilize FRP antibacterial coated panels or 304 stainless steel.
High strength is achieved through integrated framing, FRP square tubing, or aluminum alloy profiles, significantly enhancing structural integrity.

PU vs XPS: Which is the True Champion for Cold Storage Core Materials?
For cold storage wall and ceiling panels, rigid polyurethane (PU) is recommended as the insulation core material. It should have a density ≥40kg/m³, thermal conductivity ≤0.022W/(m·K), closed-cell rate ≥95%, and fire rating B1.
Compared to XPS, PU offers lower thermal conductivity, reduced water absorption, higher strength, more stable long-term performance, and lower overall operating costs, making it more suitable for medium-to-large-scale and low-temperature cold storage facilities.
Therefore, polyurethane foam can be used as long as proper waterproofing structures are implemented. XPS may also be selected when fire resistance requirements are less stringent.
