The high-quality PVC foam core allows the composite panel to be fire retardant, waterproof, lightweight, insulating (low thermal conductivity 0.041 W/kV), and structurally stable.

CFRT (UD Tape Composition), as a popular skin material, is an alternative to other skins such as wood, aluminum, painted steel, etc. It compares favorably with FRP (Fiberglass). It is lighter, more resilient, and tougher than FRP (Fiberglass).
